Integration

Wekan integration

Wekan is a self-hosted open-source kanban board. This integration covers the REST API of an instance: exchange a username and password for a bearer token, then read and write boards, lists, cards, swimlanes and checklists, and look users up. The instance host and the token both come from the connected credential.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Wekan.Built from the 18 Wekan tools below, on the connection you add once.

Common Wekan use cases

  • removing a card created by mistake
  • resolving a user id from a username
  • finding the board id to work against
  • setting up the columns of a new board
  • showing a card's assignees and due date
  • tearing down a board created for a test
  • moving a card to Done when work finishes
  • counting the work in progress in a column
  • creating a board per project from a template
  • finding the list id of a column such as Done

What you can do with Wekan

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Card, 5 operations

  • create_cardCreate cardPOSTCreates a card in a Wekan list.
  • delete_cardDelete cardDELETEDeletes a Wekan card permanently.
  • get_cardGet cardGETRetrieves a single Wekan card.

Use Wekan from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Wekan in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Wekan operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Wekan

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Wekan once

Add your Wekan connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
