Integration

QuickNode integration

QuickNode provides high-performance Web3 infrastructure with access to 77+ blockchains via JSON-RPC, REST, and WebSocket APIs. Features include standard Ethereum JSON-RPC methods, plus powerful add-ons like the Token and NFT API v2 for instant access to wallet balances, NFT ownership, token metadata, and transfer history. Trusted by leading Web3 applications for reliable, fast blockchain data access with no indexing required.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in QuickNode.Built from the 21 QuickNode tools below, on the connection you add once.

Common QuickNode use cases

  • block explorer
  • portfolio tracking
  • NFT marketplace
  • token verification
  • network monitoring
  • sending ETH
  • token gating
  • token display
  • fee estimation
  • gas estimation

What you can do with QuickNode

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Nft, 4 operations

  • fetch_nft_collection_detailsFetch nft collection detailsPOSTGets detailed information about NFT collections. Returns name, description, total supply, circulating supply, ERC-721/1155 standard, genesis block and transaction. Supports multiple contracts.
  • fetch_nftsFetch nftsPOSTFetches all NFTs owned by a wallet address. Returns collection name, token ID, image URL, traits, and metadata. Supports pagination and contract filtering. Requires Token and NFT API v2 add-on.
  • get_transfers_by_nftGet transfers by nftPOSTGets complete transfer history for a specific NFT. Returns all ownership changes with block number, date, from/to addresses, and transaction hash. Supports pagination.
  • verify_nfts_ownerVerify nfts ownerPOSTVerifies if a wallet owns specific NFTs. Input wallet address and array of contract:tokenId pairs. Returns which NFTs are actually owned. Essential for token-gating and access control.

Transaction, 4 operations

  • get_transaction_by_hashGet transaction by hashPOSTGets transaction details by hash. Returns from, to, value, gas, gasPrice, input, nonce, blockNumber, blockHash, transactionIndex. Null if pending or not found.
  • get_transaction_countGet transaction countPOSTGets the number of transactions sent from an address (nonce). Params: address, block tag. Returns hex count. Use 'pending' tag to include mempool transactions for correct next nonce.
  • get_transaction_receiptGet transaction receiptPOSTGets the receipt of a mined transaction. Returns status (1=success, 0=reverted), gasUsed, logs (events), blockNumber, and contractAddress (if deployment). Null if not yet mined.
  • send_raw_transactionSend raw transactionPOSTBroadcasts a signed transaction to the network. Param is the RLP-encoded signed transaction hex. Returns transaction hash (32 bytes). Transaction must be pre-signed with private key client-side.

Block, 3 operations

  • get_block_by_numberGet block by numberPOSTGets block information by number. Params: block number (hex or tag like 'latest', 'pending', 'earliest'), boolean for full transactions. Returns block header, hash, transactions, and metadata.
  • get_block_from_timestampGet block from timestampPOSTFinds the most recent Ethereum block at or before a given Unix timestamp. Useful for historical queries. Requires Block Timestamp Lookup add-on (mainnet only).
  • get_block_numberGet block numberPOSTGets the current block number of the Ethereum network. Returns hex-encoded block height. Essential for tracking confirmations, sync status, and determining the latest chain state.

Token, 3 operations

  • get_token_metadata_by_contractGet token metadata by contractPOSTGets ERC-20 token metadata by contract address. Returns token name, symbol, decimals, contract address, genesis block, and genesis transaction. Instant lookup without indexing.
  • get_wallet_token_balanceGet wallet token balancePOSTGets ERC-20 token balances for a wallet. Returns token name, symbol, decimals, contract address, and balance. Also returns native ETH balance. Supports pagination and contract filtering.
  • get_wallet_token_transactionsGet wallet token transactionsPOSTGets ERC-20 token transfer history for a wallet and specific token. Returns transfers with timestamps, amounts, from/to addresses, and transaction hashes. Supports pagination.

Gas, 2 operations

  • estimate_gasEstimate gasPOSTEstimates gas required to execute a transaction. Simulates the call and returns expected gas consumption (hex). Use to set gas limit before sending transactions.
  • get_gas_priceGet gas pricePOSTGets the current gas price in wei (hex). Returns the node's estimate of a reasonable gas price based on recent blocks. Multiply by gas units for total transaction cost.

Balance, 1 operation

  • get_balanceGet balancePOSTGets the native ETH balance of an address in wei. Params: address (0x-prefixed), block tag ('latest', 'pending', 'earliest', or hex block number). Divide result by 10^18 for ETH.

Contract, 1 operation

  • call_contractCall contractPOSTExecutes a contract function locally without creating a transaction. Read contract state (balances, allowances, etc.) for free. Params: call object (to, data, optional from/value/gas), block tag.

Ens, 1 operation

  • resolve_ensResolve ensPOSTResolves an ENS name to an Ethereum address or reverse-resolves an address to its ENS name. Returns multi-chain wallet addresses. Requires ENS Resolver add-on.

Log, 1 operation

  • get_logsGet logsPOSTGets event logs matching filter criteria. Filter by block range, contract address(es), and indexed topics. Essential for tracking token transfers, DEX swaps, and contract events.

Network, 1 operation

  • get_chain_idGet chain idPOSTGets the EIP-155 chain ID as hex. Returns '0x1' for mainnet, '0xaa36a7' for Sepolia. Used in transaction signing to prevent cross-chain replay attacks.

Use QuickNode from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect QuickNode in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its QuickNode operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect QuickNode

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect QuickNode once

Add your QuickNode connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
