Pushover integration
Pushover push notification API: send notifications to a person or delivery group with priority, sound, an optional image and emergency retry, poll the receipt of an emergency message until it is acknowledged, cancel retries individually or by tag, update a glance widget on a watch, validate a recipient key, list the available sounds and check the monthly quota. The application API token is stored as the credential and attached to every call; the recipient user or group key is supplied per call.
Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.
Common Pushover use cases
- picking a distinct sound for critical alerts
- alerting an on call engineer from a monitoring workflow
- keeping a live counter of open incidents on a watch face
- stopping an emergency alert once the monitoring check recovered
- validating a recipient key when someone signs up for notifications
- checking the remaining quota before sending a batch of notifications
- clearing every outstanding emergency alert for an incident once it is resolved
- waiting for an on call engineer to acknowledge an emergency alert before escalating
- validating a new Pushover credential
- sending an emergency notification that must be acknowledged
What you can do with Pushover
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use Pushover from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Connect Pushover in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Pushover operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

}How to connect Pushover
- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect Pushover once
Add your Pushover connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
