Prowlarr integration

Prowlarr is a self-hosted indexer manager for the *arr applications. The v1 REST API drives the same operations as its web UI: add, edit and delete Usenet and torrent indexers, run a search across one or several of them and read the resulting releases, list indexer categories, read per-indexer statistics and failure status, manage the applications Prowlarr syncs indexers into and the sync profiles that decide what each one receives, manage download clients and indexer proxies, read grab and query history, manage tags, queue background commands such as ApplicationIndexerSync, and read health checks, scheduled tasks, log records and system status. Point the credential at your own Prowlarr host and authenticate with the API key from Settings > General.

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Prowlarr.Built from the 78 Prowlarr tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Prowlarr

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use Prowlarr from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Prowlarr in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Prowlarr operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Prowlarr

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Prowlarr once

Add your Prowlarr connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
