Phrase Strings is a cloud translation-management platform for software localization. An agent can run the whole content workflow: projects and the accounts and locales they belong to; translation keys with their tags, descriptions, plural and boolean flags, custom metadata, format annotations, linked keys, blacklisted (do-not-translate) keys and a key search; translations with per-translation and bulk review, verify, exclude and include transitions, translation search, per-key and per-locale listings, and version history; comments on a key with their replies, reactions and read state; locales, including downloading a locale file directly or as a prepared asynchronous download; uploading localization files, singly or as an upload batch, and reading the import result; screenshots with the markers that tie a screen region to a key; style guides; variables; branches, including comparing, merging and syncing them; translation jobs with their locales, comments, annotations, templates and their start, complete, reopen, lock and unlock transitions; pre-translation runs; the quality performance score; project and locale reports; account glossaries with their terms and term translations; custom metadata properties; outbound webhook configurations with their delivery log, redelivery and test call; the supported file-format list; the ICU skeleton helper; and account-wide search. This is a curated core: over-the-air distributions, releases and release triggers, account automations and their events, repository synchronisation, Figma attachments, paid translation orders, account-level job templates, teams, spaces, members, invitations, in-app notifications, and the Authorizations endpoints that mint and revoke access tokens are all left out. The credential is a Phrase access token created in the user profile, sent as Authorization: token <token>. The host is part of the credential because Phrase serves two production data centres: enter api.phrase.com for the EU one, or api.us.app.phrase.com for the US one.
