Nginx Proxy Manager integration

Nginx Proxy Manager is a self-hosted web UI and API in front of nginx that manages reverse-proxy hosts, redirections, 404 hosts and TCP/UDP streams together with their Let's Encrypt or custom SSL certificates. Create, read, update, delete, enable and disable proxy hosts, redirection hosts, 404 hosts and streams, request, upload, renew, download, validate and delete certificates and list the supported DNS challenge providers, test whether a domain is reachable over HTTP before issuing a certificate, manage access lists with their basic-auth users and client rules, read the audit log, read the hosts report and the application settings, update a setting, manage users with their permissions and passwords, read the running version and check for a newer release. The host is part of the credential because every install is its own deployment. Authentication is the JWT the application issues, sent as a bearer token.

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Nginx Proxy Manager.Built from the 58 Nginx Proxy Manager tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Nginx Proxy Manager

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use Nginx Proxy Manager from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Nginx Proxy Manager in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Nginx Proxy Manager operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Nginx Proxy Manager

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Nginx Proxy Manager once

Add your Nginx Proxy Manager connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
