HashiCorp Nomad integration

Nomad is a workload orchestrator that schedules containers, binaries and virtual machines across a cluster. Through this API an agent can register, plan, validate, revert and stop jobs, dispatch parameterized jobs, force a periodic job to run, scale a task group, read job summaries, versions, evaluations, deployments and allocations, promote or fail a canary deployment, stop and inspect individual allocations, list and drain client nodes or change their scheduling eligibility, read and write cluster variables, manage namespaces, quotas and scaling policies, list CSI plugins and volumes and create or delete volume snapshots, search the cluster by prefix or fuzzy match, and read regions, cluster status, the Raft configuration, the autopilot configuration and health, and the scheduler configuration. The host is part of the credential because every cluster is its own deployment. Authentication is an ACL token sent in the X-Nomad-Token header.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in HashiCorp Nomad.Built from the 98 HashiCorp Nomad tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with HashiCorp Nomad

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use HashiCorp Nomad from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect HashiCorp Nomad in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its HashiCorp Nomad operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect HashiCorp Nomad

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect HashiCorp Nomad once

Add your HashiCorp Nomad connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
