Gotify integration
Gotify push notification API for a self-hosted server: send notification messages that every connected client receives, read and delete stored messages globally or per application, manage the applications that send messages and the clients that read them, and check server health and version. Point the credential at your own Gotify host and authenticate with a token; sending needs an application token while every other call needs a client token.
Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.
Common Gotify use cases
- revoking the token of a decommissioned consumer
- clearing the message store after a noisy incident
- renaming an application after a service was renamed
- pushing an alert to your phone when a workflow fails
- clearing a notification once a workflow has handled it
- auditing which clients can read the notification stream
- reading only the notifications a specific service pushed
- verifying which Gotify account a stored token belongs to
- removing the Gotify application of a decommissioned service
- reading the notifications a self hosted service pushed overnight
What you can do with Gotify
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
Message, 6 operations

Use Gotify from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Connect Gotify in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Gotify operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.
claude mcp add --transport http livecontext https://livecontext.ai/mcp --header "X-API-Key: YOUR_API_KEY"[mcp_servers.livecontext]

}
}How to connect Gotify
- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect Gotify once
Add your Gotify connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
Gotify integration FAQ
What can you do with the Gotify integration?
LiveContext exposes 16 operations on Gotify, covering message, application, client and health. Common uses include revoking the token of a decommissioned consumer, clearing the message store after a noisy incident and renaming an application after a service was renamed.
