Integration

G2 integration

G2 API for accessing software reviews, product information, competitor analysis, and buyer intent data. Retrieve product details, survey responses (reviews), categories, vendors, and buyer intent signals. Perfect for sales intelligence, competitive analysis, product marketing, and building software comparison tools. Note: these endpoints use the documented v1 API (https://data.g2.com/api/v1); G2 also publishes a v2 API reference at https://data.g2.com/api/v2/docs, but the v1 to v2 migration mapping and any v1 sunset date are not yet documented.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in G2.Built from the 13 G2 tools below, on the connection you add once.

Common G2 use cases

  • answer content retrieval
  • vendor directory
  • vendor evaluation
  • category landing pages
  • monitoring new reviews
  • detailed review analysis
  • displaying review details
  • question detail retrieval
  • displaying product reviews
  • building category navigation

What you can do with G2

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use G2 from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect G2 in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its G2 operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect G2

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect G2 once

Add your G2 connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
