DocuSeal integration

DocuSeal electronic signature API: build document templates from PDF, DOCX or HTML, send signature requests to one or several parties, follow every signer through their own status, pre fill or auto sign fields on their behalf, and download the signed documents together with their audit trail. Templates, submissions and submitters are the three objects everything revolves around. Requests authenticate with an API key sent in a header.

Common DocuSeal use cases

  • moving a template into another folder
  • finding the template to send for signature
  • reading the answers given in a signed form
  • creating a variant of a contract per country
  • sending an employment contract for signature
  • collecting a contract once it has been signed
  • pre filling a form before the signer opens it
  • sending a policy acknowledgement to a whole team
  • turning a Word contract into a signable template
  • collecting everyone who signed since the last run

What you can do with DocuSeal

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use DocuSeal from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect DocuSeal in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its DocuSeal operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect DocuSeal

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect DocuSeal once

Add your DocuSeal connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
