Documenso integration

Documenso is an open-source electronic signature platform, available as a cloud service and self-hosted. This integration covers the v2 Envelope API: create an envelope from uploaded PDFs, add its items, recipients and fields, update, duplicate, cancel or delete it, distribute or redistribute it for signature, reject on behalf of a recipient, download a signed item, the signing certificate or the audit log as PDF, read the audit trail, turn a template envelope into a document envelope, mint an embedding presign token, and organise everything into folders. The deprecated document and template endpoints that the Envelope API replaces are not included. The host is part of the credential because Documenso can be self-hosted; cloud users enter app.documenso.com. Authentication is an API token created in the account settings and sent verbatim in the Authorization header, with no Bearer prefix.

What you can do with Documenso

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use Documenso from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Documenso in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Documenso operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Documenso

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Documenso once

Add your Documenso connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
