Chatwoot integration

Chatwoot open-source customer engagement suite, application API v1. Drive a Chatwoot account the way an agent would: list and filter conversations across inboxes, open one, read and post messages (public replies or private notes), change status and priority, label conversations, and manage the contact database with create, read, update, delete, search and per-contact conversation history. Also exposes the account directory: inboxes, labels, agents and teams. Works against Chatwoot Cloud and against any self-hosted installation, the host is part of the credential.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Chatwoot.Built from the 20 Chatwoot tools below, on the connection you add once.

Common Chatwoot use cases

  • exporting the contact base
  • triaging the unassigned queue
  • honouring a data erasure request
  • resolving the inbox to create a contact on
  • routing a conversation to the billing team
  • sending the drafted answer to the customer
  • validating a label title before applying it
  • picking an online agent to assign a conversation to
  • tagging a conversation by product area for later reporting
  • escalating a conversation that breached its response target

What you can do with Chatwoot

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use Chatwoot from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Chatwoot in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Chatwoot operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Chatwoot

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Chatwoot once

Add your Chatwoot connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
