Bright Data integration

Web Scraper API for automated web data extraction at scale. Trigger synchronous or asynchronous data collection jobs, monitor progress, download results, and manage snapshots using pre-built scrapers for popular websites.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Bright Data.Built from the 15 Bright Data tools below, on the connection you add once.

Common Bright Data use cases

  • Check scraping success rate
  • List all past scraping runs
  • Download scraped product data
  • Retry a failed data collection
  • Cancel an accidental collection
  • Verify what URLs were submitted
  • Re-deliver data to a new endpoint
  • Check if webhook delivery completed
  • Poll until async scraping completes
  • Batch scrape hundreds of product pages

What you can do with Bright Data

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Snapshot, 7 operations

  • deliver_snapshotDeliver snapshotPOSTDelivers snapshot data to a webhook URL.
  • download_snapshotDownload snapshotGETDownloads collected data from a completed snapshot.
  • get_snapshot_dataGet snapshot dataGETGets detailed metadata for a snapshot.
  • get_snapshot_inputGet snapshot inputGETRetrieves the input data used for a collection.
  • get_snapshot_partsGet snapshot partsGETGets the number of download parts for a snapshot.
  • get_snapshotsGet snapshotsGETLists all snapshots for a dataset.
  • rerun_snapshotRerun snapshotPOSTRe-runs a completed or failed snapshot collection.

Collection, 3 operations

  • cancel_snapshotCancel snapshotPOSTCancels a running data collection.
  • monitor_progressMonitor progressGETChecks the progress status of a data collection job.
  • trigger_collectionTrigger collectionPOSTTriggers an asynchronous data collection job.

Zone, 2 operations

  • get_zone_statusGet zone statusGETRead the status of one Bright Data zone.
  • list_zonesList zonesGETList the Bright Data zones available on the account.

Delivery, 1 operation

  • monitor_deliveryMonitor deliveryGETChecks the status of a snapshot delivery.

Request, 1 operation

  • unlock_urlUnlock urlPOSTFetch one page through the Bright Data Web Unlocker.

Scrape, 1 operation

  • scrape_syncScrape syncPOSTScrapes data synchronously and returns results directly.

Bright Data API rate limits

  • 100 requests per second

Rate limits vary by request type (single vs batch). Batch input rate limit is up to 100 concurrent requests. Single batch request can include up to 1GB of input data.

These are the limits Bright Data documents, not ones LiveContext measured. They can change and often depend on your plan, so check the Bright Data documentation for current values.

Use Bright Data from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Bright Data in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Bright Data operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http livecontext https://livecontext.ai/mcp --header "X-API-Key: YOUR_API_KEY"
Codex (~/.codex/config.toml)
[mcp_servers.livecontext]
url = "https://livecontext.ai/mcp"

[mcp_servers.livecontext.http_headers]
"X-API-Key" = "YOUR_API_KEY"
Cursor, Claude Desktop and other JSON configs

  "mcpServers": {
    "livecontext": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://livecontext.ai/mcp",

        "X-API-Key": "YOUR_API_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}

How to connect Bright Data

  1. Create your workspace

    Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Bright Data once

    Add your Bright Data connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

    The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
