What you can do with Bland AI

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Call, 5 operations

  • GETget_call

Retrieves detailed information about a specific call including transcript, corrected duration, queue status, recording URL, and AI-generated summary. The transcripts array contains speaker-labeled entries with timestamps.

  • GETlist_calls

  • POSTremove_call_from_memory

Removes a specific call from a memory store.

  • POSTsend_call

Initiates an outbound AI phone call to a specified number. The AI agent conducts the conversation based on the provided task or pathway instructions and can use tools, transfer calls, and send SMS. Returns a call_id for tracking.

  • POSTstop_call

Ends a specific active phone call by its call_id.

Custom tool, 5 operations

  • POSTcreate_custom_tool

Creates a custom tool that the AI agent can use during calls to call external APIs or perform actions. Define the endpoint, method, input schema, and response handling.

How to connect Bland AI

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Bland AI once

Add your Bland AI connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
