What you can do with AWeber

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Subscriber, 7 operations

  • POSTcreate_subscriber

Adds a new subscriber to a mailing list.

  • DELETEdelete_subscriber

Deletes a confirmed subscriber from a list.

  • GETfind_subscriber_by_email

Finds a subscriber on a list by email address.

  • GETget_subscriber

Retrieves a single subscriber by ID.

  • GETlist_subscribers

Lists subscribers on a mailing list with optional status filter.

  • POSTmove_subscriber

Moves a subscriber from one list to another, preserving tags and custom fields.

  • PATCHupdate_subscriber

Creates a draft broadcast email on a list.

Lists broadcast emails on a list, filtered by status.

  • POSTschedule_broadcast

Schedules a draft broadcast for delivery at a future time.

OAuth scopes AWeber requires

Each operation declares the scopes AWeber requires for it.

  • list.readneeded by get_list, list_custom_fields, list_lists and 1 more
  • subscriber.writeneeded by create_subscriber, delete_subscriber, move_subscriber and 1 more
  • account.readneeded by get_account, list_accounts, list_integrations
  • subscriber.readneeded by find_subscriber_by_email, get_subscriber, list_subscribers
  • email.writeneeded by create_broadcast, schedule_broadcast
  • email.readneeded by list_broadcasts
  • list.writeneeded by create_custom_field

AWeber API rate limits

AWeber uses dynamic rate limiting per access token. Pay attention to 403 Forbidden responses with a 'rate limit' message - back off and retry. Bulk operations should iterate sequentially and follow next_collection_link for pagination.

These are the limits AWeber documents, not ones LiveContext measured. They can change and often depend on your plan, so check the AWeber documentation for current values.

Use AWeber from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect AWeber in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its AWeber operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http livecontext https://livecontext.ai/mcp --header "X-API-Key: YOUR_API_KEY"
Codex (~/.codex/config.toml)
[mcp_servers.livecontext]

[mcp_servers.livecontext.http_headers]
"X-API-Key" = "YOUR_API_KEY"
Cursor, Claude Desktop and other JSON configs

How to connect AWeber

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect AWeber once

Add your AWeber connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
