Alibaba Cloud Model Studio integration
Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (DashScope) OpenAI-compatible endpoint on the Singapore region host. Run Qwen text, vision and translation models through chat completions, build text embeddings, drive the stateful Responses API, and submit offline batch jobs by uploading a JSONL request file and polling the resulting batch. The compatible-mode surface deliberately covers only these areas: image generation, speech recognition and reranking live on the separate DashScope-native API and are not reachable here.
Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.
Common Alibaba Cloud Model Studio use cases
- summarising a document with a Qwen model
- checking which batch jobs are still running
- finding the result file of a completed batch job
- collecting the answers produced by an overnight batch job
- embedding documents before storing them in a vector database
- stopping a batch job that was submitted with the wrong prompt
- checking the size of a batch result file before downloading it
- submitting thousands of prompts for cheap overnight processing
- waiting for a batch job to finish before collecting its results
- classifying a large backlog of records overnight at the batch price
What you can do with Alibaba Cloud Model Studio
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use Alibaba Cloud Model Studio from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Connect Alibaba Cloud Model Studio in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Alibaba Cloud Model Studio operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

}How to connect Alibaba Cloud Model Studio
- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect Alibaba Cloud Model Studio once
Add your Alibaba Cloud Model Studio connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
