Alchemy integration
Web3 development platform providing blockchain APIs for Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, and other networks. Access real-time blockchain data, send transactions, query NFTs, and build decentralized applications. Features include enhanced APIs for NFTs, token balances, transaction history, and webhooks for on-chain events. The infrastructure powering the world's leading Web3 apps.

What you can do with Alchemy
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
Nft, 7 operations
get_contract_metadataGet contract metadataGETGets collection-level metadata for an NFT contract. Returns name, symbol, totalSupply, tokenType, and OpenSea collection data.get_floor_priceGet floor priceGETGets the floor price of an NFT collection from OpenSea and LooksRare. Returns price in ETH and marketplace currency.get_nft_metadataGet nft metadataGETGets full metadata for a specific NFT. Returns name, description, attributes, image/animation URLs, and contract info.get_nfts_for_contractGet nfts for contractGETGets all NFTs in a collection by contract address. Paginated list with metadata. Use for browsing entire collections.get_nfts_for_ownerGet nfts for ownerGETGets all NFTs owned by a wallet address. Returns token ID, contract, metadata, and media URLs. Alchemy NFT API v3 with automatic IPFS resolution and caching.get_owners_for_contractGet owners for contractGETGets all holders of NFTs in a collection. Paginated list of owner addresses with optional token balance details.get_owners_for_nftGet owners for nftGETGets owner(s) of a specific NFT. ERC721 returns one owner; ERC1155 returns all holders with balances.
Transaction, 3 operations
get_transaction_by_hashGet transaction by hashPOSTGets transaction details by hash. Returns from, to, value, gas, gasPrice, input data, nonce, blockNumber. Null if transaction is unknown.get_transaction_receiptGet transaction receiptPOSTGets the receipt of a mined transaction. Returns status (1=success, 0=fail), gasUsed, logs (events), blockNumber, and contractAddress (if deployment). Null if not yet mined.send_raw_transactionSend raw transactionPOSTBroadcasts a signed transaction to the network. Param is the RLP-encoded signed transaction hex. Returns transaction hash. Transaction must be pre-signed client-side.
Block, 2 operations
get_block_by_numberGet block by numberPOSTGets block data by number. Returns header fields: timestamp, miner, gasUsed, baseFeePerGas, transactions. Use fullTransactions=true for full tx objects.get_block_numberGet block numberPOSTGets the current block number of the Ethereum network. Returns hex-encoded block height. Essential for tracking confirmations and network sync status.
Contract, 2 operations
call_contractCall contractPOSTExecutes a contract function locally without creating a transaction. Read contract state (balances, allowances, etc.) for free. Params: call object (to, data), block tag.get_codeGet codePOSTGets the bytecode at a contract address. Returns 0x for EOAs (non-contract addresses). Use to verify contract deployment.
Gas, 2 operations
estimate_gasEstimate gasPOSTEstimates gas required to execute a transaction. Simulates the call and returns expected gas consumption. Use to set gas limit before sending transactions.get_gas_priceGet gas pricePOSTGets the current gas price in wei. Returns the median gas price from recent blocks. Use to estimate transaction fees.
Token, 2 operations
get_token_balancesGet token balancesPOSTGets all ERC20 token balances for an address in one call. Returns contract addresses and balances. Pass 'erc20' for all tokens or specific contract list.get_token_metadataGet token metadataPOSTGets ERC20 token metadata: name, symbol, decimals, and logo URL. Essential for displaying token info alongside balances.
Balance, 1 operation
get_balanceGet balancePOSTGets the native token balance (ETH) of an address in wei. Params: address, block tag ('latest', 'pending', or block number). Divide result by 10^18 for ETH.
Log, 1 operation
get_logsGet logsPOSTGets event logs matching filter criteria. Filter by block range, contract address, and indexed topics. Essential for tracking token transfers, swaps, and contract events.
Transfer, 1 operation
get_asset_transfersGet asset transfersPOSTGets historical asset transfers (ETH, tokens, NFTs) for an address. Filter by from/to, categories, and block range. Alchemy Enhanced API for transaction history.
Use Alchemy from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Connect Alchemy in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Alchemy operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

}How to connect Alchemy
- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect Alchemy once
Add your Alchemy connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
