1Password Connect integration

1Password Connect is the self-hosted REST server that exposes a 1Password vault to machines. An agent can list the vaults a Connect token can reach, read a vault, list and search the items in it, create, replace, patch and delete items with their fields and sections, list the files attached to an item, read a file's metadata and download its content, and read the Connect server's own request activity and health. Item field values, including passwords, TOTP seeds and notes, come back in the item payload, so a workflow can fetch a credential at run time instead of storing it. The credential is a Connect access token issued from the 1Password admin console when the Connect server is deployed; it is sent as a bearer token and can only reach the vaults it was scoped to. The host is part of the credential because every Connect server is its own deployment.

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in 1Password Connect.Built from the 13 1Password Connect tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with 1Password Connect

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use 1Password Connect from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect 1Password Connect in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its 1Password Connect operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect 1Password Connect

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect 1Password Connect once

Add your 1Password Connect connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
