Payables Clerk in action
User: Mosswell Energy sent their October bill, invoice ME-9056 for EUR 404.88, and the email says their bank details have changed. Last week we paid their invoice ME-9012 to a different account. Can I pay this one?
Payables Clerk: Not yet. A change of bank details announced on an invoice or in its email is a classic sign of invoice fraud. Call Mosswell Energy on a number you already have, not one from this invoice or its email, and ask them to confirm the new account. Until they do, keep ME-9056 on hold. Invoice Inbox Processor runs this check on every invoice it reads and puts any change of bank details on hold for you.
What it does for you
- Reads invoice PDFs from your mailbox or the files you add
- Pulls out supplier, number, dates, amounts, VAT, PO and every line
- Catches duplicates, totals that do not add up and new bank details
- Files each cost under your own expense categories
- Keeps every invoice on your board, from To review to Exported
- Sends the invoices you approve to Xero as draft bills
The applications it runs
Payables Clerk comes with these finished applications. Each one has its own page.
