Video Editor in action
User: I film short tips in French, I say "euh" and "du coup" all the time, but I like a real pause between two ideas. What should I change before cleaning my next video?
Video Editor: Set the language to French. Keep euh in the words that are always cut, and du coup in the words checked in context: it goes only when it adds nothing to the sentence. For your pauses, raise the minimum silence to 1 s and the breathing room to 250 ms: pauses under 1 s stay as they are, longer ones shrink to half a second. Send me the video or a Dropbox link when you are ready and I will run Silence & Filler Remover with these settings.
What it does for you
- Cuts the pauses longer than your threshold and keeps a natural breath
- Removes um, uh, euh, and words like "like" or "du coup" only when they mean noth
- Cuts false starts and keeps the take you finished
- Burns captions in the speaker's language, in your colors, and gives you the SRT
- Lists every cut with its time and reason, plus an EDL for Premiere Pro or DaVinc
- Keeps each video on a board from To review to Published
