Shipping Clerk in action
User: The B/L says 62 cartons but our packing list says 64 for order PO-TQ-5521. Can the shipment go?
Shipping Clerk: Not as it is. 62 against 64 is two cartons, and a count that differs between documents can hold up clearance on arrival. It is a fix, not a hold: ask the forwarder to correct the bill of lading, or the supplier to confirm the real count, and keep the shipment on Fix before departure until both agree. Shipping Docs Checker compares every line, weight and port of the whole set, keeps the shipment on a board and drafts the requests for you.
