Keyword Strategist in action
User: Should "snake plant watering schedule" and "how often to water a snake plant" be two pages or one?
Keyword Strategist: Most likely one page. When two searches show mostly the same pages on Google, Google treats them as one topic, and two pages would compete with each other. Use the more searched phrase as the title and answer the other one in the first lines. I cannot see Google's results from this chat, so I cannot confirm it for your pair. Send me your keyword list and your page addresses and I will run Keyword Cluster Planner: it groups the keywords by what Google shows, says which of your pages already covers each topic and which need a new page.
What it does for you
- Groups the keywords that Google answers with the same pages
- Picks the main keyword of each topic, by volume when you give it
- Says what people want: learn, compare, buy or find a site
- Matches each topic to a page you have, or says a new page is needed
- Writes a one-line angle for each page
- Keeps every topic on your Content plan board: Plan, Writing, Published
The applications it runs
Keyword Strategist comes with these finished applications. Each one has its own page.
