About this application

Turn the timed transcript of a video or an episode into YouTube chapters, a description, show notes and three title ideas. Paste the transcript as exported by YouTube Studio, Descript, Riverside or your podcast host (SRT, VTT, or one line per cue that starts with its time, up to about two hours of speech) and your video title. A reading step proposes where the video changes topic, only as line numbers: code places every chapter at the start of a real line of your transcript and enforces YouTube's rules (first chapter at 0:00, in order, at least 10 seconds each and at least the shortest you choose, at least 3 chapters). Each chapter title, show note and description sentence is checked against the words said in its own part of the video: a number, a name or a negation that was not said is removed, and the three proposed episode titles (at most 100 characters, no clickbait) get the same check. A sentence addressed to an AI inside the transcript is removed and ignored. You get a block to paste in your video description, a full description with your own footer lines, a show-notes list and a Copy button for each. Each pack is a card on your Chapter board (To review, Ready to paste, Published); a pack you moved is never rewritten, and the same transcript with the same settings is not read twice. Settings: number of chapters, shortest chapter, title style, capital letters, words per title, description length, proposed titles, your style, footer lines, video length and preview only. Needs no account. Nothing is published to YouTube: a YouTube link instead of a pasted transcript comes later. To cut silences and fillers from the video itself, see Silence & Filler Remover.
