Zoom Chatbot integration
Zoom Chatbot API: post messages as your Zoom Team Chat chatbot app to a user or a channel, thread a reply under a message, edit or delete a message the chatbot sent, and answer a link unfurl request with a preview card. Messages are chatbot message cards (a content object with a head and body items, optionally Markdown). Reading chat history and every other Zoom resource is not part of this API (see the Zoom integration). Authentication is an OAuth 2.0 client credentials token requested with the chatbot app's Client ID and Client Secret (scope imchat:bot, valid one hour, renewed with the same credentials).
Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.
What you can do with Zoom Chatbot
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
Message, 3 operations
delete_chatbot_messageDelete chatbot messageDELETEDeletes a message your chatbot sent (message_id from send_chatbot_message). This cannot be undone. Returns the deleted message's id, robot_jid and to_jid.edit_chatbot_messageEdit chatbot messagePUTReplaces the content of a message your chatbot sent (message_id from send_chatbot_message) with a new message card. Send the whole new card in content.send_chatbot_messageSend chatbot messagePOSTPosts a message as your chatbot to a user or channel (to_jid) and returns its message_id, which edit_chatbot_message, delete_chatbot_message and reply_to take. content is a chatbot message card, at least {"head": {"text": "..."}}.
Unfurl, 1 operation
unfurl_linkUnfurl linkPOSTAnswers a link unfurl request with a preview card for a link a user shared. triggerId comes from the team_chat.link_shared event Zoom sends your app; content is the card as a JSON string.
Use Zoom Chatbot from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Connect Zoom Chatbot in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Zoom Chatbot operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.
claude mcp add --transport http livecontext https://livecontext.ai/mcp --header "X-API-Key: YOUR_API_KEY"[mcp_servers.livecontext]

}
}How to connect Zoom Chatbot
- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect Zoom Chatbot once
Add your Zoom Chatbot connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
