WANotifier integration

WANotifier is a WhatsApp marketing and automation platform built on the official WhatsApp Business API (the vendor is a Meta Tech Partner). Search and read your contacts with their lists, tags and custom attributes, add or update a contact by WhatsApp number (name, subscription status, lists, tags, attributes), list your contact lists and tags, and send free-form WhatsApp messages (text, media, location, interactive buttons, lists or flows) to a contact during an active conversation window. Contacts are personal data (names, phone numbers). Left out: the Notification API, whose template-sending webhook URL is generated per notification in the dashboard rather than being a fixed route. Authentication: your WANotifier API key (Integrations, API Integration, API Keys tab), sent as the key query parameter.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in WANotifier.Built from the 6 WANotifier tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with WANotifier

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Each badge shows the default agent permission of an endpoint (allowed: an agent calls it without asking; ask first: you are asked before an agent calls it, when the agent or chat asks permission for sensitive actions; never: no agent may call it), which every user can change endpoint by endpoint in their credential settings.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Contact, 3 operations

  • get_contactGet contactGETAgents: ask firstReturns one contact by its contact id: name, WhatsApp number, save and subscription status, profile picture URL, lists, tags and custom attributes. Personal data.
  • list_contactsList contactsGETAgents: ask firstSearches the contacts of your WANotifier account (personal data: names, WhatsApp numbers, subscription status), filtered by search term, list ids or tag ids. Paged; set per_page, which defaults to 1.
  • upsert_contactUpsert contactPOSTAgents: ask firstAdds a contact or, when the WhatsApp number already exists, updates it: name, subscription status, lists, tags, custom attributes. With replace=true the lists, tags and attributes sent replace the existing ones.

List, 1 operation

  • list_contact_listsList contact listsGETAgents: ask firstLists all contact lists of your WANotifier account with their id and name. Use the ids in list_contacts (list_ids) and upsert_contact (list_ids).

Message, 1 operation

  • send_messageSend messagePOSTAgents: ask firstSends a real WhatsApp message to a person, by WhatsApp number or contact id. Works only in an active conversation window (opened when the contact messages you). Types: text, image, video, document, audio, sticker, location, interactive.

Tag, 1 operation

  • list_contact_tagsList contact tagsGETAgents: ask firstLists all contact tags of your WANotifier account with their id and name. Use the ids in list_contacts (tag_ids) and upsert_contact (tag_ids).

Use WANotifier from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect WANotifier in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its WANotifier operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect WANotifier

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect WANotifier once

Add your WANotifier connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
