W System integration

W System is an EU business-data and e-invoicing API. Validate EU VAT numbers in VIES (with a consultation number as audit proof, and a flagged national-register fallback when a member state is down) and EORI numbers in the EC EOS service, look up companies in official registers (France, Norway, Finland, Czechia, Poland, Estonia, GLEIF LEI elsewhere), screen names against the EU, UN, OFAC SDN and UK sanctions lists, run a one-call KYB verdict or a due-diligence report, and validate, read or create EN 16931 and XRechnung e-invoices and check whether a company can receive them over Peppol. Not exposed: the sandbox e-invoice send and its evidence key, the Peppol mandate routes (they record a signer's legal acceptance), plan checkout, the health check and the vendor's internal send-usage counter. Authentication is an API key in the X-API-Key header: a free key (500 units a month, no card) from api.wsystem.dev/account/free-key, or a Starter or Pro monthly plan key. Most calls cost 1 unit; KYB 5, e-invoice validation 3, e-invoice creation 8 and the due-diligence report 50, and a call needing more units than are left is refused with HTTP 429.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in W System.Built from the 19 W System tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with W System

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Each badge shows the default agent permission of an endpoint (allowed: an agent calls it without asking; ask first: you are asked before an agent calls it, when the agent or chat asks permission for sensitive actions; never: no agent may call it), which every user can change endpoint by endpoint in their credential settings.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Einvoice, 3 operations

  • create_einvoiceCreate einvoicePOSTAgents: ask firstCreates an EN 16931, XRechnung or Peppol BIS 3 UBL 2.1 invoice from JSON: totals and VAT breakdown are computed, and the result is validated before it is returned (valid, errors, xml). Nothing is sent. 8 units.
  • parse_einvoiceParse einvoicePOSTAgents: ask firstReads an incoming EU e-invoice (UBL, CII or a ZUGFeRD/Factur-X PDF) into one JSON shape: number, dates, seller and buyer, totals, VAT breakdown, payment (IBAN), lines. Does not check validity; use validate_einvoice.
  • validate_einvoiceValidate einvoicePOSTAgents: ask firstValidates an EU e-invoice (UBL, CII or a ZUGFeRD/Factur-X PDF) against the XML schema, the CEN EN 16931 rules and, for XRechnung, the KoSIT rules. Returns valid and each error with rule id, message, XPath and fix hint. 3 units.

Company, 2 operations

  • search_companiesSearch companiesGETAgents: ask firstSearches official business registers by company name or registry number: FR, NO, FI, CZ, PL (KRS number only) and EE directly, any other country through GLEIF LEI records. Returns legal name, registry id, status, address, VAT id.
  • search_companies_batchSearch companies batchPOSTAgents: ask firstSearches official business registers for up to 25 companies in one call; each query takes the name or number and country that search_companies takes.

  • verify_eoriVerify eoriGETAgents: ask firstValidates one EU EORI (customs) number in the European Commission EOS service. Returns valid, status and the trader's name and address when the trader consented to publication.
  • verify_eori_batchVerify eori batchPOSTAgents: ask firstValidates up to 100 EU EORI numbers in the EC EOS service in one call; each result has the same fields as verify_eori.

Sanctions screening, 2 operations

  • screen_sanctionsScreen sanctionsGETAgents: ask firstScreens a person or company name against the EU consolidated, UN Security Council, US OFAC SDN and UK sanctions lists (refreshed daily) with fuzzy, transliteration-aware matching. A potential match needs human review.

Use W System from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect W System in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its W System operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect W System

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect W System once

Add your W System connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
