Trint integration
Trint transcribes audio and video into editable, searchable transcripts. An agent can upload a media file or have Trint fetch one from a URL, list and read transcripts, export a transcript's timed words as JSON, translate transcripts, organize them in folders and shared drives, run live transcription from a stream URL or an RTMP push stream, and register webhooks for completed, verified or new-version transcripts. Left out: the other 18 export formats (DOCX, SRT, WebVTT, EDL...), whose reference says they return a JSON link while the guide says they return the file itself; the translation listing route (a GET with a body); and SCIM user provisioning (separate OAuth). Authentication is HTTP Basic with an API key: the Key ID as username and the Key Secret as password, from the API page of the Trint web app. This connection uses the US tenant (api.trint.com); EU tenant keys do not work here. Transcription consumes Trint credit.

What you can do with Trint
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
Transcript, 4 operations
deregister_webhookDeregister webhookDELETEDe-registers a callback URL so Trint stops sending it events.list_transcriptsList transcriptsGETLists your Trints (or those of a shared drive or shared drive folder): id, file type, title, language, duration, folder, metadata and an excerpt. Page with limit and skip.register_webhookRegister webhookPUTRegisters a callback URL that Trint POSTs to when subscribed events happen (TRANSCRIPT_COMPLETE, TRANSCRIPT_VERIFIED, TRANSCRIPT_NEW_VERSION). Deliveries carry no signature.upload_mediaUpload mediaPOSTUploads an audio or video file and starts transcribing it; the call returns once Trint has accepted the whole file, with the new trintId. Transcription consumes Trint credit.
Folder, 3 operations
create_folderCreate folderPOSTCreates a folder, nested under parentId when given, in a shared drive when workspaceId is given.get_folderGet folderGETReturns one folder by id; give workspaceId as well for a folder in a shared drive.list_foldersList foldersGETLists folders of a shared drive (workspace-id) or of your own files, each with its _id, name and parent folder id for nested ones.
Realtime, 3 operations
get_realtime_statusGet realtime statusGETReturns the status of a realtime Trint (for example TRANSCRIBING), its warnings and errors, start time and expiry.start_realtime_transcriptionStart realtime transcriptionPUTStarts live transcription of a media stream URL into a new Trint. Returns the new Trint's _id; follow it with get_realtime_status and end it with stop_realtime_transcription.stop_realtime_transcriptionStop realtime transcriptionDELETEStops a running realtime transcription, given its trintId and, for a push stream, its streamId.
Ingest, 2 operations
list_ingestsList ingestsGETLists your ingest uploads with status (PENDING, IMPORTING, PROCESSING, READY, FAILED) and trintId once ready, or with view=summary the counts per status. Page with cursor.submit_ingestSubmit ingestPOSTStarts an asynchronous upload: Trint fetches the media at sourceUrl and transcribes it, reporting progress to callbackUrl. Returns an operationToken; track it with list_ingests.
Resource, 2 operations
create_translationCreate translationPOSTCreates a translation of a transcript into targetLanguage (a code from list_translation_languages); the translated file is linked to the original. Returns the new file id.delete_translationDelete translationDELETEDeletes a translation file. Pass the id of the translated file (a fileId from create_translation), not of the source transcript.
Workspace, 2 operations
get_shared_driveGet shared driveGETReturns one shared drive by id.list_shared_drivesList shared drivesGETLists the shared drives (formerly workspaces) you can access, each with _id, name and description. Archived ones only with include-archived=true.
File, 1 operation
get_transcriptGet transcriptGETReturns one Trint's details: file type, title, language, duration, folder, shared drive, metadata and an excerpt. Use export_transcript_json for the words.
Json, 1 operation
export_transcript_jsonExport transcript jsonGETExports a transcript as JSON: its title and every word with paragraph id, speaker id, text, start time and duration in milliseconds, highlight color and strikethrough.
Push, 1 operation
create_push_streamCreate push streamPOSTCreates an RTMP push stream for live transcription: returns a stream url and a single-use stream key to feed from your encoder, plus the new Trint id and streamId.
Translation language, 1 operation
list_translation_languagesList translation languagesGETLists the languages transcripts can be translated into, each with its name and the code create_translation takes.
Use Trint from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Connect Trint in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Trint operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

}How to connect Trint
- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect Trint once
Add your Trint connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
