Trakt integration

Trakt tracks what people watch and is a large catalog of movies, shows, seasons, episodes and people. Look up a movie, show, episode or person by Trakt ID, slug or IMDB ID; search by text or map ids between IMDb, TMDB, TVDB and Trakt; browse trending, popular, anticipated, most watched and box office charts; read release calendars, ratings (with IMDb, TMDB and Rotten Tomatoes scores), stats, cast and crew, translations, videos, comments and public lists; and read the public profile, watch history, ratings, watchlist and lists of a user whose profile is public. All tools are reads: checkins, scrobbling, syncing, rating, list editing and anything else that needs a user login are not exposed, nor are the Premium-only (Limited Access) watch-now routes. Authentication is the Client ID of a Trakt API app (create one under Your API Apps in the Trakt settings; it needs a verified GitHub account), sent in the trakt-api-key header with trakt-api-version 2. A Standard app is free and limited to 500 calls every 5 minutes.

What you can do with Trakt

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
