Trackabi integration

Trackabi is a time tracking and timesheet app. List, create, update and delete clients, projects, tasks and time entries, assign members to projects, read the company timesheet filtered by date, client, project or member, and read members, leaves, time types and the company profile. Lists are paginated with page and page_size (1 to 100, default 30). Members' personal email, home address, birth date and emergency contact are not returned. Authentication is a Trackabi API key sent as a Bearer token; the subscription plan may cap requests per hour (HTTP 429 once spent).

The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Trackabi.Built from the 27 Trackabi tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Trackabi

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Task, 6 operations

  • create_taskCreate taskPOSTCreates a task in a project (name required; parent_task_id makes it a subtask) and returns it with its id.
  • delete_taskDelete taskDELETEDeletes a task. This cannot be undone; recursive=true also deletes its subtasks.
  • get_taskGet taskGETReturns one task by id: name, project, description, parent task, subtask count, estimate, dates and billable flag.
  • list_project_tasksList project tasksGETLists the tasks of one project, one page at a time. Use list_subtasks for the children of a task.
  • list_tasksList tasksGETLists tasks across all projects, one page at a time.
  • update_taskUpdate taskPUTUpdates a task. Only the fields you send change; leave a field out to keep its current value.

Client, 5 operations

  • create_clientCreate clientPOSTCreates a client and returns it with its id. Currency, hourly_rate and cost_hourly_rate are accepted only when the API key's owner has access to rates.
  • delete_clientDelete clientDELETEDeletes a client. This cannot be undone.
  • get_clientGet clientGETReturns one client by id: name, short name, contact person, address, email, phone, notes, and currency and rates when the API key's owner may see them.
  • list_clientsList clientsGETLists the company's clients, one page at a time (page, page_size). Currency and rates appear only when the API key's owner may see them.
  • update_clientUpdate clientPUTUpdates a client. Only the fields you send change; leave a field out to keep its current value.

Project, 5 operations

  • create_projectCreate projectPOSTCreates a project (name, short_name and currency are required) and returns it with its id. client_id is required when the timesheet settings make the client column mandatory.
  • delete_projectDelete projectDELETEDeletes a project. This cannot be undone.
  • get_projectGet projectGETReturns one project by id with its client, dates, rates, estimate units, assigned members and teams.
  • list_projectsList projectsGETLists projects with their client, dates, rates, assigned members and teams, one page at a time. show_removed_members=1 also lists members removed from a project.
  • update_projectUpdate projectPUTUpdates a project. Only the fields you send change; leave a field out to keep its current value.

Time entry, 5 operations

  • create_time_entryCreate time entryPOSTLogs one time entry and returns it with its id. Which of member, client, project, task, date, description and times are required depends on the company's timesheet settings.
  • delete_time_entryDelete time entryDELETEDeletes a time entry. This cannot be undone.
  • get_time_entryGet time entryGETReturns one time entry by id with its member, client, project, task, date, description, logged and billable time.
  • list_time_entriesList time entriesGETReads the company timesheet: time entries with member, client, project, task, date, logged and billable time. Filter by dates, client, project or member; paginated.
  • update_time_entryUpdate time entryPUTUpdates a time entry. Only the fields you send change; leave a field out to keep its current value.

Assign member, 1 operation

  • assign_members_to_projectAssign members to projectPOSTAssigns members to a project, each with an optional project role, and returns the project with its assigned members.

Leave, 1 operation

  • list_leavesList leavesGETLists leaves (time off) with type, member, dates, working days and status, filtered by start_date and end_date; own=1 keeps only the API key owner's leaves. Paginated with page and page_size.

Member, 1 operation

  • list_membersList membersGETLists the company's members (users): name, work email, phone, education, notes, pay and billable rates (when visible to the key), leave allowance, deleted flag. Paginated.

Profile, 1 operation

  • get_company_profileGet company profileGETReturns the company (account) the API key belongs to: name, alias (its Trackabi subdomain), address, phone and email.

Subtask, 1 operation

  • list_subtasksList subtasksGETLists the subtasks of a task, one page at a time.

Time type, 1 operation

  • list_time_typesList time typesGETLists the company's time types (for example Normal or Overtime): id, name and short name. Pass a name as time_type when creating a time entry.

Use Trackabi from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Trackabi in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Trackabi operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Trackabi

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Trackabi once

Add your Trackabi connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
