Integration

TMetric integration

TMetric is a time tracking, billing and team management service. An agent can log, start, stop and bulk-edit time entries, manage projects, clients' project lists and tasks, record expenses, create, copy and mark invoices, run project summary reports, follow budgets and profitability per project, review and approve timesheets, read time off requests, work schedules and time balances, see who is tracking now, and trigger integration syncs. Left out: account deletion, profile and notification settings, two-factor settings, file uploads and downloads (invoice and expense attachments, PDFs), integration setup (its access key), workspace timesheet settings changes, and routes TMetric marks experimental (invoice templates, external invoices, invoice history, profitability report). Authentication is a personal API token from My Profile in the TMetric web app (valid one year; a new token revokes the old one), sent as a Bearer token. Most tools take the workspace accountId from get_current_user.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in TMetric.Built from the 87 TMetric tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with TMetric

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Project, 8 operations

  • create_projectCreate projectPOSTCreates a project by name, optionally for a client given by id or by name (a client name that does not exist is created). Names must be unique per client.
  • delete_projectDelete projectDELETEPermanently deletes a project. Check get_project_related_entities first to see what is linked to it.
  • get_project_summary_reportGet project summary reportGETReturns tracked time per project over startDate..endDate (lifetime when both are left out): total and billable seconds, billable amount, cost and budget use.
  • list_invoiceable_projectsList invoiceable projectsGETLists a client's projects that can be put on a recurring invoice; includeData adds whether each has expenses and time entries in startTime..endTime.
  • list_projectsList projectsGETLists the projects you can see, filterable by client, status, billing type and budget: id, name, client, status, billing method, managers, budgets and code.
  • list_timesheet_projectsList timesheet projectsGETLists the projects available to filter a member's timesheet: all active and done projects they can access, then archived ones referenced in the current period.
  • list_trackable_projectsList trackable projectsGETLists the projects a user can track time on, with client, status, billing method and when the user last used each.

Use TMetric from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect TMetric in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its TMetric operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect TMetric

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect TMetric once

Add your TMetric connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
