Integration

Sumo Logic integration

Sumo Logic is a cloud log and metrics analytics platform. Run log searches as search jobs (create, poll the status, page through messages and aggregate records) and metrics queries; manage saved log and metrics searches, monitors (alerts), SLOs, muting schedules, dashboards and their report schedules, the content library (folders, export, copy, move, delete), users and roles, lookup tables, custom fields, scheduled views, partitions, installed apps and health events, and read account status and usage forecasts. Left out: access keys, OAuth clients, service accounts, SAML and SCIM, security policies, connections (webhook destinations carry auth headers), data forwarding, archiving and deletion rules, ingest budgets, source templates, tracing and span analytics, parsers, and CSV uploads to lookup tables. Authentication is HTTP Basic with a Sumo Logic access ID as the username and its access key as the password; api_host is your deployment's API host: api.sumologic.com (US1), api.us2.sumologic.com, api.au.sumologic.com, api.ca.sumologic.com, api.ch.sumologic.com, api.de.sumologic.com, api.eu.sumologic.com, api.esc.sumologic.com (AWS European Sovereign Cloud), api.fed.sumologic.com, api.jp.sumologic.com or api.kr.sumologic.com. Rate limit: 4 requests per second per user and 10 concurrent requests per access key.

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Sumo Logic.Built from the 134 Sumo Logic tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Sumo Logic

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use Sumo Logic from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Sumo Logic in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Sumo Logic operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Sumo Logic

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Sumo Logic once

Add your Sumo Logic connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
