Authentication is a SportsDataIO API key (free trial or paid subscription) sent in the Ocp-Apim-Subscription-Key header; a free trial key returns scrambled scores, stats and odds (moved 5 to 20 percent), while schedules, teams and players are accurate. Not included: XML output and the routes the documentation no longer lists, nor the games-in-progress check, which answers a bare true or false.
