SolarWinds Service Desk integration

SolarWinds Service Desk (formerly Samanage) is an IT service management platform. List, read, create, update and delete incidents, problems, changes, releases, solutions, service and change catalog items (and request a service or a change from them), configuration items and their dependencies, IT assets (hardware with warranties, mobile devices, printers, software, other assets), contracts and their items, purchase orders, vendors, users, groups and memberships, sites, departments, roles and categories; add comments, tasks, time entries and purchases to records, and read audit trails and risks. File attachments are not exposed. Authentication is an API token an administrator generates on a user's setup page (it has that user's role), sent as X-Samanage-Authorization: Bearer <token>; pick the API host of your data center. Rate limits: 1000 calls per minute (Advanced plan), 1500 (Premier).

The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in SolarWinds Service Desk.Built from the 134 SolarWinds Service Desk tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with SolarWinds Service Desk

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

How to connect SolarWinds Service Desk

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect SolarWinds Service Desk once

Add your SolarWinds Service Desk connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
