Smarty integration
Smarty (formerly SmartyStreets) address data. Verify and standardize US addresses one at a time or 100 per call, look up US ZIP Codes and cities, autocomplete US and international addresses, extract and verify US addresses found in free text, reverse geocode a US coordinate, verify international addresses, list international postal codes, and pull property, business, census and secondary-unit data for a US address by its SmartyKey. Lookups are billed against the matching Smarty subscription (pass license when the account holds several); international autocomplete summary results are free. Not included: the older US Autocomplete Pro and Basic APIs (replaced by US Autocomplete), embedded-key browser use, and the data set download API. Authentication: a Smarty secret key pair (Auth ID as username, Auth Token as password), sent as HTTP Basic, from the API keys page of the Smarty account; it works on every product host.

The workflow builds itself.
What you can do with Smarty
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
Address, 5 operations
extract_us_addressesExtract us addressesPOSTFinds US addresses in free text or HTML (up to 64 KB) and verifies each one. One call may use zero or more lookups on your subscription, aggressive mode more.reverse_geocode_usReverse geocode usGETReturns the US street addresses closest to a latitude and longitude, nearest first, each with its distance in meters, coordinate and SmartyKey.verify_international_addressVerify international addressGETVerifies and standardizes one address outside the US (country required, plus freeform or address1) and returns its candidates with components and verification status. An empty list means no match.verify_us_addressVerify us addressGETVerifies and standardizes one US address and returns its matched candidates (delivery lines, components, geocode, DPV analysis). An empty list means no match. For up to 100 addresses at once use verify_us_addresses_batch.verify_us_addresses_batchVerify us addresses batchPOSTVerifies up to 100 US addresses (32 KB) in one call. Each result carries input_index, the position of the address it answers; an address that matched nothing has no result.
Address suggestion, 3 operations
autocomplete_international_addressAutocomplete international addressGETSuggests addresses in one country for a partly typed address. Returns summary results (not charged); pass a result address_id to get_international_address_suggestion for its members or full detail.autocomplete_us_addressAutocomplete us addressGETSuggests verified US addresses for a partly typed address. A suggestion with entries above 1 is a group of secondaries: call again with its entry_id as selected to list them.get_international_address_suggestionGet international address suggestionGETExpands an address_id from autocomplete_international_address: a group (entries above 1) lists up to 100 member summaries; a single address (entries 1) returns its detailed components and is charged.
Zip code, 2 operations
lookup_us_zipcodeLookup us zipcodeGETLooks up a ZIP Code, a city + state, or all three, and returns matching cities and ZIP Codes. Answers HTTP 200 even on bad input: the result then has status (e.g. invalid_zipcode) and reason instead of data.lookup_us_zipcodes_batchLookup us zipcodes batchPOSTLooks up up to 100 ZIP Code or city + state inputs in one call. Answers HTTP 200 even for bad inputs: check each result for status and reason; results match inputs by input_index.
Address data, 1 operation
get_address_enrichmentGet address enrichmentGETReturns property, business, census (geo-reference) or secondary data for one US address, by SmartyKey or by address search (smarty_key=search). An empty list means no data for that address.
Business, 1 operation
get_business_detailsGet business detailsGETReturns the detailed attributes of one US business by its business_id (from get_address_enrichment with dataset=business). Each call uses one lookup.
Postal code, 1 operation
lookup_international_postal_codeLookup international postal codeGETLists postal code, locality and administrative area records in one country matching a locality, an administrative area or a postal code (prefix allowed). Up to 1,000 results, no paging: refine to see fewer.
Use Smarty from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Connect Smarty in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Smarty operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

}How to connect Smarty
- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect Smarty once
Add your Smarty connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
