Short.io Statistics integration

Short.io Statistics is the click analytics API of the Short.io branded URL shortener. Read click statistics for a whole domain or one link over a period (today, yesterday, last 7 or 30 days, a month or a custom range): total and human clicks, change against the previous period, a clicks time series by hour, day, week or month, and the top referrers, social networks, browsers, countries, cities and operating systems; filter clicks by country, browser, path, status and more; get click counts for chosen links; rank any click attribute (paths, countries, referrers, UTM values) by clicks; list the latest raw clicks, which carry visitors' IP addresses and user agents (personal data). Clearing a domain's statistics is not exposed. Links and domains themselves are managed with the Short.io integration. Authentication is the same secret Short.io API key (Integrations and API in the dashboard), sent as is in the Authorization header.

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Short.io Statistics.Built from the 12 Short.io Statistics tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Short.io Statistics

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

By interval, 2 operations

  • get_domain_clicks_by_intervalGet domain clicks by intervalPOSTReturns a domain's clicks as a time series, one count per hour, day, week or month over the period, optionally filtered with include and exclude.
  • get_link_clicks_by_intervalGet link clicks by intervalPOSTReturns one link's clicks as a time series, one count per hour, day, week or month over the period, optionally filtered with include and exclude.

Domain, 2 operations

  • get_domain_statisticsGet domain statisticsGETReturns click statistics for a whole domain over a period: total and human clicks, links created, changes against the previous period, a clicks time series, and top referrers, social networks, browsers, countries, cities and operating systems.
  • get_domain_statistics_filteredGet domain statistics filteredPOSTSame as get_domain_statistics, but counts only the clicks matching include and leaves out those matching exclude (by country, browser, social network, path, status, human or bot and more).

Use Short.io Statistics from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Short.io Statistics in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Short.io Statistics operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Short.io Statistics

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Short.io Statistics once

Add your Short.io Statistics connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
