Senta integration

Senta (by IRIS) is practice management software for accounting firms. Through its client API an agent can search the practice's clients, read a client with its contacts, create or update a client (any field configured in the practice's client forms, contacts included), delete a client, export a saved client list view, list jobs filtered by client, job template or status, and attach notes to a client or job. Authentication is a practice API key sent in the x-auth header; requests go to the practice's own workspace host (https://<subdomain>.senta.co).

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Senta.Built from the 8 Senta tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Senta

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Client, 5 operations

  • create_clientCreate clientPOSTCreates a client (company) from the fields sent in doc and returns the full new client with its _id.
  • delete_clientDelete clientDELETEDeletes a client permanently.
  • get_clientGet clientGETReturns one client by id: name, state, type, address, phone, website and contacts (the fields configured in the practice's client forms).
  • list_clients_in_viewList clients in viewGETReturns the clients of a saved client list view of the practice, with that view's filter and columns. Each client keeps its _id (usable with get_client); its other keys are the view's column names (for example Client name, State).
  • update_clientUpdate clientPUTUpdates the fields sent in doc and leaves the others unchanged; a contact not yet on the client is added. Switching to Client or enabling a service starts jobs as in Senta. Returns the full client.

Job, 1 operation

  • list_jobsList jobsGETLists jobs, filtered by client (cid), job template (wid) and status. Returns each job with its id, client id, template id, title and main date.

Note, 1 operation

  • create_noteCreate notePOSTAdds a note to a client and, optionally, to one of its jobs. Returns the created note.

Search, 1 operation

  • search_clientsSearch clientsGETSearches clients by keywords and returns the matches with their _id and title. Pass an _id to get_client, update_client or list_jobs (cid).

Use Senta from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Senta in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Senta operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

Claude Code

How to connect Senta

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Senta once

Add your Senta connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
