Samsara integration

Samsara is a connected-operations platform for vehicle fleets and equipment. Read vehicles, trailers, equipment and their live and historical locations and stats (GPS, fuel, engine), trips, speeding and idling, safety events and scores, camera media, hours-of-service logs, clocks and violations, IFTA and fuel reports, alert incidents, readings, industrial data points and users. Manage drivers, contacts, addresses, tags, attributes, assets, trailers and vehicles, driver assignments, DVIRs and defects, work orders, dispatch routes, form submissions, issues, documents, training assignments, fuel purchases and live sharing links (shareable URLs that show live asset location). Drivers, users, contacts, HOS logs, safety events, trips and vehicle locations are personal data about real people. Left out: beta, preview and legacy v1 routes, hours-of-service log edits, user management, webhooks (their objects carry a secret key), driver auth tokens and QR codes, gateway activation, organization settings and alert configuration writes, hubs and plans, maintenance parts, sites and warranties, and the EU-only tachograph routes; driver ID card codes are removed from driver outputs and from the latest vehicle stats. Calls go to Samsara's US cloud (api.samsara.com, also Mexico and older Canadian organizations); organizations on the EU or Canada cloud cannot use this connection. Authentication is a Samsara API token (Settings > API Tokens, with the read and write scopes the tools need) sent as a Bearer token.

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
