RedCircle API integration

RedCircle API (by Traject Data) returns real-time public data from Target.com: product details by TCIN, DPCI, GTIN/UPC or URL, search and category listings with sort and facet filters, customer reviews, and in-store stock near a zipcode. It also lists Target categories, shows the account's credit usage and error logs, and manages the zipcodes used to localize requests. Each successful product, search, category, reviews or store-stock page costs one API credit. The Collections (bulk scheduling) and Destinations APIs, CSV output and zipcode deletion are not exposed. Authentication is the account API key sent as the api_key query parameter.

The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in RedCircle API.Built from the 10 RedCircle API tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with RedCircle API

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Product, 2 operations

  • get_productGet productGETReturns one Target product by tcin, dpci, gtin or url (pass one): title, brand, buybox price and availability, images, specifications, variants and top reviews. Costs one API credit.
  • search_productsSearch productsGETSearches Target for search_term (or a search page url) with sort, delivery, rating and facet filters; returns search_results, facets, categories, pagination. One API credit per page returned (max_page up to 5).

Zipcode, 2 operations

  • add_zipcodesAdd zipcodesPOSTAdds zipcodes to the account so requests can use them as customer_zipcode. Each starts as preparing and is usable after about 2 minutes (status available in list_zipcodes).
  • list_zipcodesList zipcodesGETLists the zipcodes set up on the account, grouped by domain (target.com) with their status (preparing or available), and the zipcode quota used, limit and available. 10 per page.

Account, 1 operation

  • get_accountGet accountGETReturns the RedCircle account: plan, credits used, limit and remaining this month and their reset date, overage settings, platform status and three months of usage history. Free to call.

Category, 1 operation

  • list_categoriesList categoriesGETLists Target categories: top-level ones with no parameter, the children of parent_id, one category by id, or every category matching search_term (use only one of the three).

Category product, 1 operation

  • list_category_productsList category productsGETLists products in a Target category (category_id from list_categories) with sort, delivery, rating and facet filters; returns category_results, facets, pagination. One API credit per page returned (max_page up to 5).

Errorlog, 1 operation

  • list_error_logsList error logsGETLists failed API requests (error logs): request URL with the key removed, parameters, last date seen, count and the error returned. 10 per page; free, limited to 60 calls per minute.

Review, 1 operation

  • list_product_reviewsList product reviewsGETLists customer reviews of a Target product (tcin, dpci, gtin or url) with star, reviewer and media filters; returns reviews, a rating summary and pagination. One API credit per page returned (max_page up to 5).

Store stock, 1 operation

  • get_store_stockGet store stockGETReturns in-store stock of a Target product (tcin, dpci, gtin or url) at up to 20 stores within 50 miles of store_stock_zipcode: in_stock, stock_level, address, distance. Costs one API credit.

Use RedCircle API from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect RedCircle API in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its RedCircle API operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect RedCircle API

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect RedCircle API once

Add your RedCircle API connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
