Integration

ProAbono integration

Connect with your ProAbono business id (the number in your API endpoint https://api-<id>.proabono.com), Agent key and API key, all under Integration, API in the ProAbono back office. ProAbono is a subscription billing platform: an agent can create and update customers and their billing address and payment settings, list offers and features, create, start, upgrade, suspend and terminate subscriptions, record feature usage, quote prices, add one-off balance lines, bill a customer and read invoices. Subscriptions, usage, balance lines and billing charge real customers. The encrypted hosted-page links ProAbono returns are not passed on, and the customer invalidation and Backoffice API routes are not exposed. Authentication is HTTP Basic: Agent key as username, API key as password.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in ProAbono.Built from the 37 ProAbono tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with ProAbono

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Usage, 5 operations

  • get_usageGet usageGETReturns one customer's usage of one feature: type, included and current quantity (or included and enabled for an OnOff feature) and the billing period.
  • list_usagesList usagesGETLists feature usages: every feature of one customer (ReferenceCustomer or IdCustomer, optionally one IdSubscription), or every customer's usage of one feature (ReferenceFeature). Quantities show what the customer may use.
  • quote_usage_updateQuote usage updatePOSTComputes, without recording it, what a usage change would cost (pass exactly one of Increment, QuantityCurrent or IsEnabled), optionally with the next term's cost.
  • update_usageUpdate usagePOSTRecords a usage change for one customer's feature: add with Increment, set QuantityCurrent, or switch IsEnabled (pass exactly one). Usage beyond what the subscription includes is billed to the customer.
  • update_usagesUpdate usagesPOSTApplies up to 50 usage updates at once (increments, current quantities or OnOff switches, any customers). Extra usage is billed to the customers. Returns the updated usages.

  • bill_customerBill customerPOSTInvoices a customer's balance now: issues an invoice with the lines of the balance (optionally only those between two dates) and charges an automatic payment method. Returns the invoice.

Subscription, 4 operations

  • create_subscriptionCreate subscriptionPOSTSubscribes an existing customer to an offer, optionally overriding its prices, trial, period, features or discounts. A paid start is billed to the customer; without a trial and payment details it waits as a draft.
  • get_subscriptionGet subscriptionGETReturns one subscription: offer, status and technical state, dates of start, period, term and next billing, trial and commitment, prices in cents and features with their usage.
  • list_subscriptionsList subscriptionsGETLists subscriptions page by page, optionally of one segment, one customer or one paying customer, with status, dates, prices in cents and features.
  • quote_subscription_creationQuote subscription creationPOSTComputes, without creating anything, what subscribing a customer to an offer (with the same optional overrides as create_subscription) would cost now, taxes included.

Balance line, 3 operations

  • create_balance_lineCreate balance linePOSTAdds a one-off charge (or credit) to a customer's balance; it is invoiced, and charged, at the next billing or with bill_customer. Returns the line with taxes computed.

Use ProAbono from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect ProAbono in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its ProAbono operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect ProAbono

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect ProAbono once

Add your ProAbono connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
