Pro Ledger integration
Pro-Ledger Online is single-entry bookkeeping software for sole proprietors, freelancers and small businesses. Through its API an agent can read the bookkeeping setup (accounts, income and expense categories, classes and tax collection settings) and add a bookkeeping record (income, expense, transfer or cost of goods sold) with its amount, category, class, account and taxes. Reading, editing or deleting existing records is not offered by the API; the key-check route, the second category list and subcategories are not exposed. Authentication is an API key created in Pro-Ledger Online under Tools, API Key, sent in the X-API-Key header.

What you can do with Pro Ledger
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
Create new record, 1 operation
create_recordCreate recordPOSTAdds one bookkeeping record (an income, expense, transfer or cost of goods sold entry) to Pro-Ledger Online with its total, account, category, class, source and tax treatment. It only records the entry: no money moves.
Get account, 1 operation

Get category, 1 operation
list_categoriesList categoriesGETLists the bookkeeping categories set up for one transaction type (income categories by default), each with its id, key and label. Pass an id as category in create_record.
Get class, 1 operation
list_classesList classesGETLists the classes set up for one transaction type (income by default), each with its id, key and label. Pass an id as class in create_record.
Get tax collection, 1 operation

Use Pro Ledger from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Connect Pro Ledger in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Pro Ledger operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

}
}How to connect Pro Ledger
- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect Pro Ledger once
Add your Pro Ledger connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
