Integration

Placetel integration

Placetel is a German cloud telephone system (PBX). With this API an agent can read the call list and call detail records, start a call from a SIP user, send SMS and faxes, manage the phone book contacts, SIP users, account users, ring groups, call routings and routing plans, prompts (greetings), number profiles, call center agents and queues, phone provisionings, SIM cards, sites and call event subscriptions (webhooks). Most routes need a Placetel PROFI account; numbers, contacts, faxes, SMS, sites, SIM cards and call detail records also work on Placetel for Webex. Not exposed: desk phone CTI control, the Webex and Microsoft Teams provisioning routes, reseller customer routes, picking a waiting call center call for an agent, password and two-factor resets, free-form phone configuration keys, and file download links (recording audio, voicemail, fax PDFs). Authentication is the account's API key, sent as a Bearer token; create it in the Placetel web portal under Integrations, Web API.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Placetel.Built from the 84 Placetel tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Placetel

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

How to connect Placetel

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Placetel once

Add your Placetel connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
