Photoroom integration
Photoroom edits product photos with AI. Remove an image's background, or run the Image Editing API to combine background removal with solid, image or AI-generated backgrounds, AI shadows, relighting, text removal, upscaling, virtual models, flat lay and positioning in one call; every edit returns the result as an image file. Enterprise keys can also run Visual QA (captions, moderation and quality scores, garment classification). Each processing call is billed per image (a sandbox_ key prefix gives free watermarked results). The deprecated v1 render and v1 account routes are not exposed. Authentication is an API key from the Photoroom API dashboard, sent in the x-api-key header.

What you can do with Photoroom
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Each badge shows the default agent permission of an endpoint (allowed: an agent calls it without asking; ask first: you are asked before an agent calls it, when the agent or chat asks permission for sensitive actions; never: no agent may call it), which every user can change endpoint by endpoint in their credential settings.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
Image, 5 operations
analyze_imageAnalyze imagePOSTAgents: ask firstEnterprise plan only (other keys get HTTP 403): analyzes an image (imageFile or imageUrl) and returns only the requested features, such as a caption, metadata, clothing items, AI-generated or quality scores.analyze_image_v2Analyze image v2POSTAgents: ask firstEnterprise plan only (other keys get HTTP 403): the earlier Visual QA version. Always returns a caption and image metadata, plus scores for the requested features. Prefer analyze_image, which also classifies garments.edit_imageEdit imagePOSTAgents: ask firstEdits an uploaded image (imageFile) and returns the result as a stored image file. Same edits as edit_image_from_url. Plus plan, billed per call ($0.10 on the vendor's price list); a sandbox_ key gives free watermarked results.edit_image_from_urlEdit image from urlGETAgents: ask firstEdits the image at imageUrl and returns the result as a stored image file. Plus plan, billed per call ($0.10 on the vendor's price list) whatever edits are combined; a sandbox_ key gives free watermarked results.remove_backgroundRemove backgroundPOSTAgents: ask firstRemoves the background of an uploaded image (Remove Background API, Basic plan, $0.02 per call on the vendor's price list) and returns the cutout as a stored image file. A sandbox_ key gives free watermarked results.
Account, 1 operation
get_accountGet accountGETAgents: ask firstReturns the API key's plan and image balance: images.available (left this period) and images.subscription (monthly quota). Works for Remove Background (Basic) and Image Editing (Plus) keys.
Use Photoroom from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Connect Photoroom in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Photoroom operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

}How to connect Photoroom
- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect Photoroom once
Add your Photoroom connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
