Paylocity WebLink integration

Paylocity WebLink is the Paylocity Payroll/HR API for a company's own employee data. List employees and read an employee's full record, hire employees directly or through Web Link staging, update employee records, and manage per-employee earnings, additional pay rates, local, primary and non-primary state taxes, emergency contacts, benefit setup and sensitive self-identification data; read direct deposit accounts, pay statement summaries and details by year or check date, company setup codes and custom field definitions. Not exposed: client secret rotation, the company-specific OpenAPI document, the closed-beta pay rate and status searches, and the older v1 deduction, onboarding and local-tax update routes; Paylocity's newer apiHub APIs are a separate integration. Authentication is OAuth2 client credentials (scope WebLinkAPI) that Paylocity issues to an approved customer or partner, scoped to the company numbers Paylocity allowed.

The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Paylocity WebLink.Built from the 28 Paylocity WebLink tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Paylocity WebLink

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
