Integration

ONLYOFFICE DocSpace integration

ONLYOFFICE DocSpace (now sold as ONLYOFFICE Apps) is a room-based document collaboration platform, cloud or self-hosted. Browse My documents, folders and rooms; create, upload, rename, copy, move, convert and delete files and folders; get download and share links; create, update, archive and delete rooms, manage their members and tags; list, search, invite and update users; and manage groups. Portal settings, security, backup, migration, AI agents, OAuth clients and API key routes are not exposed. Authentication is an API key created under Developer Tools > API keys, sent as a Bearer token; the base URL is your portal address, for example https://yourportal.onlyoffice.com.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in ONLYOFFICE DocSpace.Built from the 52 ONLYOFFICE DocSpace tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with ONLYOFFICE DocSpace

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

File, 6 operations

  • create_fileCreate filePOSTCreates a document in a folder; the title extension picks the format (docx, xlsx, pptx; none adds .docx). Content: blank, or a copy of templateId or of gallery form formId. Returns the file.
  • create_file_in_my_documentsCreate file in my documentsPOSTSame as create_file, in the caller's My documents section (guests have none). The title extension picks the format; blank content unless templateId or formId is given.
  • delete_fileDelete fileDELETEDeletes one file: to Trash by default, for good with immediately=true (always final inside a room). Queued: poll list_file_operations until finished is true, then read error (empty means success).
  • get_fileGet fileGETReturns one file: title, folder, size, version, view and edit URLs, the caller's access and thumbnail state. version picks an older version (-1, the default, is the current one).
  • list_folder_contentsList folder contentsGETLists one page of a folder or room: subfolders in response.folders, files in response.files, the folder in current, its parents in pathParts, response.total for paging (count up to 100).
  • update_fileUpdate filePUTRenames a file (title, the stored extension is kept) and/or restores a version (lastVersion above 0). Leave a field out to leave that part unchanged. Returns the file.

Room, 5 operations

  • create_roomCreate roomPOSTCreates a room of roomType (cannot change later) with a title and returns it. Needs portal owner, admin or room admin rights. Invite members afterwards with set_room_access.
  • delete_roomDelete roomDELETEDeletes a room and all its files for good (no Trash step). Queued: poll list_file_operations until finished is true, then read error (empty means success).
  • get_roomGet roomGETReturns one room: type, title, tags, logo, cover, quota and settings, with the caller's access. Reading it clears the caller's new-item marks for the room.
  • list_roomsList roomsGETLists the rooms the caller can see (all for a portal admin): rooms in response.folders, response.total for paging. searchArea picks active rooms (default), archive or others. Filter by type, title, tags.
  • update_roomUpdate roomPUTChanges only the room fields you send (title, tags replace the whole set, color, cover, quota, indexing, denyDownload, lifetime, watermark). Leave a field out to keep it. Caller must manage the room.

Folder, 4 operations

  • create_folderCreate folderPOSTCreates a folder inside folderId (a room or a folder, not a section root) and returns it; read its id from response.id. Titles need not be unique. Rooms are created with create_room.
  • delete_folderDelete folderDELETEDeletes a folder and everything in it: to Trash by default, for good with immediately=true (always final inside a room). Queued: poll list_file_operations until finished is true, then read error (empty means success).
  • get_folderGet folderGETReturns one folder (title, parent, dates, the caller's access, new-item count, room settings when it is a room) without listing its contents; use list_folder_contents for those.
  • rename_folderRename folderPUTGives a folder (or a room) a new title and returns it. Not allowed in Trash or in an archived room.

Group, 3 operations

  • create_groupCreate groupPOSTCreates a group (groupName required, not unique) with an optional manager and members; the whole call fails if any member is a guest, disabled or unknown. Returns the group.
  • get_groupGet groupGETReturns one group with its name, manager and, unless includeMembers is false, its members.
  • list_groupsList groupsGETLists portal groups (ID, name, manager, no members), up to 100 per page. userId keeps the groups that account belongs to (manager=true: manages). filterValue matches the name.

Link, 3 operations

  • create_file_share_linkCreate file share linkPOSTReturns the primary external link of a file, creating it with these settings if it does not exist; an existing link is returned unchanged. Anyone with the address can open it unless internal=true.
  • get_file_share_linkGet file share linkGETReturns the primary external link of a file (address, access, expiry, download restriction), creating a read-only link with no expiry on the first call if the file has none.
  • list_room_linksList room linksGETLists the sharing links of a room (invitation and external links, or one kind with type): address, title, access, expiry, primary flag. At most 100 links.

Person, 3 operations

  • get_userGet userGETReturns the profile of one account by user ID (or user name). Answers not found when the caller may not see it.
  • list_usersList usersGETLists active portal accounts with full profiles, up to 100 per page (count, startIndex). Needs room admin or DocSpace admin rights. filterValue matches name and email.
  • update_userUpdate userPUTOn your own profile, sets firstName, lastName, location, comment, contacts, department, spam; on another account, only disable (true suspends it) and isUser (true makes it a guest). Omitted fields are kept, except spam.

Tag, 3 operations

  • add_room_tagsAdd room tagsPUTAttaches tags (names) to a room, creating unknown names in the portal tag catalogue; tags already attached are kept. Returns the room with its tags.
  • list_room_tagsList room tagsGETReturns room tag names as a flat array of strings: the whole catalogue for a portal admin, otherwise the tags on rooms the caller can see. A page shorter than count means the end.
  • remove_room_tagsRemove room tagsDELETEDetaches tags (names) from a room; the tags stay in the portal catalogue. Unknown names are skipped silently, so check the returned tag set.

Checkconversion, 2 operations

  • get_file_conversion_statusGet file conversion statusGETReturns the conversion entry of a file (progress 0-100, error, file once converted); an empty list means already reported or never started. Leave start out: true starts a conversion.
  • start_file_conversionStart file conversionPUTStarts converting a file (outputType, for example pdf; empty uses the portal default). Poll get_file_conversion_status until progress is 100 and read file. sync=true converts in the call.

Member, 2 operations

  • add_group_membersAdd group membersPUTAdds accounts (members, user IDs) to a group, keeping existing members. Guests, disabled or unknown IDs are skipped silently, so check the returned members.
  • remove_group_membersRemove group membersDELETERemoves accounts (members, user IDs) from a group; the accounts themselves are kept. IDs that are not members are skipped. Returns the remaining members.

Copya, 1 operation

  • copy_file_asCopy file asPOSTCopies one file into destFolderId under destTitle; a different extension in destTitle converts it (for example .pdf), toForm=true makes a PDF form. Each call adds a copy.

How to connect ONLYOFFICE DocSpace

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect ONLYOFFICE DocSpace once

Add your ONLYOFFICE DocSpace connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
