Numverify integration

Numverify, by APILayer, validates national and international phone numbers for 232 countries in real time. An agent can check whether a number is valid and read its local and international (E.164) formats, country prefix, country code and name, location, carrier and line type (mobile, landline...), and list the supported countries with their dialling codes. Location and carrier are not available for every number. Authentication is the API access key from your APILayer dashboard, sent as the access_key query parameter.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Numverify.Built from the 2 Numverify tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Numverify

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Country, 1 operation

  • list_countriesList countriesGETLists every country Numverify supports, keyed by two-letter country code, each with its country name and international dialling code. Use the codes as country_code in validate_phone_number.

Phone number, 1 operation

  • validate_phone_numberValidate phone numberGETValidates one phone number: an international number (e.g. 14158586273) alone, or a national one with country_code. Returns valid, local and E.164 formats, country prefix, code and name, location, carrier, line type (invalid: number, local_format).

Use Numverify from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Numverify in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Numverify operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Numverify

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Numverify once

Add your Numverify connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
