NOWPayments integration

NOWPayments is a crypto payment gateway. Create crypto payments and hosted invoice pages for a fiat or crypto price, check payment status, get minimum amounts and price estimates, list supported coins, read your custody balance, validate payout addresses, list payouts and their status, estimate payout fees, read recurring payment plans and subscriptions, and top up or read customer (sub-partner) balances. Routes that need the short-lived dashboard login token (5-minute JWT) are not exposed: creating and verifying payouts, the payment list, conversions, fiat payouts, creating customers and transfers, and creating or changing plans and email subscriptions. Cancelling scheduled payouts is not exposed either, since such payouts can only be created with that token. Authentication is your NOWPayments API key, sent in the x-api-key header.

What you can do with NOWPayments

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Payment, 3 operations

Balance, 2 operations

get_balanceGet balanceGETReturns your custody balance per currency. Each key is a currency ticker holding amount (available) and pendingAmount (still processing).
get_customer_balanceGet customer balanceGETReturns the custody balance of one of your customer accounts, per currency (amount and pendingAmount). Only from a whitelisted IP when IP whitelisting is on.

Min amount, 2 operations

get_minimum_payment_amountGet minimum payment amountGETReturns the minimum payment amount for a currency pair (payment currency to your payout currency). currency_from may be a fiat currency; fiat_equivalent adds the minimum in a fiat currency.
get_payout_minimum_amountGet payout minimum amountGETReturns the current minimum amount of a payout (withdrawal) in a given coin.

Update merchant estimate, 1 operation

update_payment_estimateUpdate payment estimatePOSTReturns the current pay_amount estimate of a payment, and renews it once its expiration_estimate_date has passed (before that the current estimate comes back unchanged).

Validate address, 1 operation
