Nationalize.io integration

Nationalize.io predicts the nationality of a person from their name: send a last name or a full name and get back up to five candidate countries (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 codes) ranked by probability, with the number of name records behind the prediction. Useful to enrich contact lists, localize outreach, or segment a dataset by likely origin. Only the single-name lookup is exposed; the batch form that takes repeated name[] parameters is not. Nationalize is run by Demografix, and the same API key also works on Genderize and Agify. Authentication is an API key from the Nationalize account dashboard, sent as the apikey query parameter; usage is counted per name against the monthly quota of the plan (the free plan includes 1,000 names per month).

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Nationalize.io.Built from the 1 Nationalize.io tool below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Nationalize.io

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

  • predict_nationalityPredict nationalityGETPredicts the likely countries of origin of a name: returns up to five ISO country codes in country, ordered by descending probability, plus count (records behind it). A full name predicts better than a surname alone.

Use Nationalize.io from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Nationalize.io in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Nationalize.io operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Nationalize.io

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Nationalize.io once

Add your Nationalize.io connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
