National Highways WebTRIS integration
WebTRIS is National Highways' open traffic flow database for England's strategic road network (motorways and major A roads, formerly Highways England). Find traffic count sites by id, type or area, check how complete their data is, and pull daily (15-minute), monthly or annual traffic reports with vehicle volumes, length and speed bands, average speeds and large vehicle shares, going back years. The duplicate date-in-path report route is left out. No authentication: the API is free and open, with no key or registration.
Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.
What you can do with National Highways WebTRIS
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
