Integration

Musixmatch integration

Musixmatch is a licensed catalog of song lyrics and music metadata. Search tracks by title, artist, writer or lyrics, match a song by title and artist or ISRC, read its lyrics, line-synced and word-synced lyrics, a snippet and translations, get artists, their albums and album tracklists, country charts, genres and lyric languages, read a track's lyrics analysis (meaning, moods, themes, moderation, rating), search songs by those analysis criteria, and find which songs a text quotes (the Lyric Fingerprint API is enabled by Musixmatch on request). Lyrics restricted for an artist, a track or a country come back with an empty lyrics or subtitle body and are marked as restricted. Every answer is HTTP 200 with the real outcome in message.header.status_code (401 bad key, 402 limit reached, 404 not found). The enterprise publishing submissions, the catalog dump routes and the deprecated lyricslens route are not exposed. Authentication is the API key sent as the apikey query parameter.

The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Musixmatch.Built from the 23 Musixmatch tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Musixmatch

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use Musixmatch from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Musixmatch in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Musixmatch operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Musixmatch

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Musixmatch once

Add your Musixmatch connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
