Integration

Motive integration

Motive (formerly KeepTruckin) is a fleet management platform: ELD and Hours of Service compliance, vehicle and asset telematics, dashcams and driver safety. Read and manage users, vehicles, assets, groups, geofences, dispatches, documents, fuel purchases, timecards and webhooks; read HOS logs, violations and available time, vehicle and asset locations, fault codes, driver performance, speeding and scorecards, IFTA mileage, reefer telemetry, Motive Card transactions and freight-visibility tracking; request video recalls. Engine immobilizer control, live camera control and image capture, Motive Card locking and spend changes, CSV fuel imports and bulk AI document uploads are not exposed, and superseded API versions are left out. Authentication is a company API key created in the Motive Dashboard (Admin, Developers, Create an API Key), sent in the X-API-Key header.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Motive.Built from the 146 Motive tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Motive

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

How to connect Motive

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Motive once

Add your Motive connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
